The 5AM CLUB by Robin Sharma

Struggling to wake up in the morning? Struggling to find out why certain things just happen in your life?
Searching for a way out? Procrastinating regularly?
Then you are at the gate of your success. Robin Sharma has surprised us one more time with his very helpful book “5 AM CLUB”.

Your success is a journey. Robin Sharma embraces this aspect and expresses his gems of wisdom in the form of fiction. This method of writing self- help books is very uncommon among authors.
Some find it annoying, but I enjoyed how he creatively builds up a story to explain various aspects of owning your morning. He was able to highlight the importance of certain aspects and consequences of waking up at 5 AM by bringing out exciting incidents in the story of an entrepreneur, artist and a billionaire.

In the beginning, I never expected the book to take crazy turns. It was a unique experience compared to other self-help books that I had read.
I bet you can enjoy the slow suspense that Robin creates. The story also helps you to remember the concepts as you tend to remember the incidents of the story associated with it. This is very important as people tend to forget many facts otherwise.

But I found it a bit difficult to find the gems of information scattered in an unorganised manner throughout the story.
Robin claims he took 4 years to complete this book, he has done adequate research and has shown many quotes of great personalities that gave me goosebumps then and there.

In total, it is a good read. You will surely earn some points that can change your life.
Here are some quotes that I found very revealing.
“ All change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous in the end. “

“You need to know that your excuses are seducers, your fears are liars and your doubts are thieves.”

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”
Remember, OWN YOUR MORNING, ELEVATE YOUR LIFE. gives 7.5/10 for this book.
